Hi, It seems that new devices have a light-on-dark style when it comes to the UI, specifically menus. Older devices have a dark-on-light style. These are completely at odds with each other and makes it difficult to select an appropriately shaded icon for menus. I've settled on a light gray, which looks equally washed out in either UI style, but is at least visible. Much better than some applications I have installed that use white icons, which turn invisible on my dark-on-light Desire Z!
