I get this error when trying to query the server. I have a week on this, so, that means:
I have internet permision in the manifest. The emulator have inernet access, I can go to google and navigate. The firewall sf off. I setted up the server and ip name in both, the hosts of machine and the hosts of the emulator. I had turned the wi-fi emulator on and off. I had restarted the emulator. I had delete the avd, and created a new one. Recreating and deleting the avd or virtual device does not work. It's all the same. Restarting the computer also does not do anithing. The URL of the web service which return the json data, go well in the web browser but no in the emulator. I had created a new proyect, just to prove the reading of the json from the server, and the same error.
