Hey John, Honestly, your code is freaking ingenious. Unfortunately it is also really, really wrong. As the usual crowd has pointed out, even if you do get this approach to work once or twice, it really is just the wrong idea. If you are willing to do stuff that is this clever, you can totally handle the architecture that does this the right way. ... and, fwiw, it has nearly nothing to do with freaking AsyncTasks.
