Hi, If I update the settings database (either through adb shell or settings.jar), settings app doesn't seem to reflect the new value until I reboot the device.
For example, if I change the volume settings in /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db (system table), I don't see the change updated until i reboot the device (even adb shell sync does not work) Is there a way to update the settings without actual reboot of the device.
