It seems like there is excess vertical space on xhdpi for the text on a * Button*.
Even when I set the padding to 0 and the margin to 0, there was a lot of space. Not sure why. Eventually, I just opted for the kludgy and unsatisfying workaround of using an *ImageButton*.
