Looks like there was an issue with my local cache in Chrome. I was getting the following message in Chrome:
"This webpage is not available The webpage at *https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/android/* might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. Error 15 (net::ERR_SOCKET_NOT_CONNECTED): Unknown error." I just cleared the Chrome cache via "Menu->Tools->Clear browser data..." and checking the "Empty the cache" checkbox and then restarted Chrome, and now it seems to be working fine. Sorry for the false alarm if this was just me, but if anyone else is having the same issue the above steps should fix it.
