As you probably already know, home screen icon ads and notification ads are
being banned. So now what are the advertisement placement possibilities
for an app which is primarily a service, or a theme. Either no user
interface at all or an activity that only does occasional (or almost never)
configuration. All that comes to mind is to have the service periodically
launch an activity to let the user know it is still working and put an ad
there but I think that's more intrusive than a notification and will not
likely be well received.

Any ideas?
