What we thought was ADP1.1 (since, you know, it said "Android Developer Phone" and "version 1.1" all over it :) ..) was in fact the stock system image from the "holiday bonus" phones that google gave to employees late last year.
This is the rc33-equiv update for them, adding latitude, voice search etc etc. (And presumably the final 1.1 sdk compatibility.) If you get the "nocheck" version, it applies just like any other update.zip - save to sd as "update.zip", boot in recovery mode (hold "home") and hit alt-l (logging) and alt-s (apply from sdcard) The nocheck version is available at my website: http://andblogs.net/2009/02/new-adp1-update-official-with-google-voice-and-more/ On Wed, Feb 11, 2009 at 10:26 PM, JS <[email protected]> wrote: > > Does ADP 1.1 holiday image includes Google Latitude? > > On Feb 10, 8:00 am, "[email protected]" <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi, > > > > Is there a link to instructions on how do I use this ZIP to update my > > ADP1 device ? > > > > TIA > > > > On Feb 10, 4:36 pm, Disconnect <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > > Oh, and I just realized (too late, sorry) that we're seriously off > topic > > > here - this is better on android-discuss or maybe android-platform.
