I do remember getting reports in 3.2 and it appeared there was nothing to be done that I could find. There is a chance that if I directed my users to use: Android/data/com.example.foo/ on external storage devices that they might be able to use their valued card. However, that is difficult to test as I don't have one of the target devices, much less all of them.
