In one weekend, I suddenly got six reports that distance measure by GPS was way off. Way off. Like walk 500 feet and it says you just walked 32 miles.
On further interrogation, ALL of these reports were from device model ME173X, the Asus Memo pad. Possibilities are the following: Getting erroneous or inconsistent results from the Location.distanceTo or Location.distanceBetween method. (Sounds really weird, but some behavior described by an end user could be caused by that.) Getting a bunch of noisy location data form the GPS. But this is already a common scenario, and they would see other effects from it. Anyone aware of any weird things from that device?
