The speech recognition built into Android, supplied by Google, changed recently (within the last few months). It used to recognize the end of speech within 2 seconds of the last utterance. It now waits 10 seconds which is unacceptable to my voice based applications and an annoyance to any users. The parameters to set that time delay do not work. Will this be changed back so the default will be what it used to be? I highly recommend that approach. If not, please make the parameters have a real effect. Please advise.
