Hi, Since ICMP sock is not permitted in newer vendor devices. Has anybody thought of some other alternative for ip reachability test. isReachable<http://developer.android.com/reference/java/net/InetAddress.html#isReachable%28java.net.NetworkInterface,%20int,%20int%29>() API is not a option as this doesn;t yeild any good result.
