Hey guy's i'm new to trying to make an android App and i'm looking for help i've created my design in Photoshop as a mock up on how id like my app to look.
I am creating a Contact management app but all the tutorials i've seen have been using tabs but I don't want to use tabs. what I am looking to do is to have contact's laid out with just the contact profile picture set in like circle box with there name underneath an when you click on there profile picture a more detailed page then opens up including there contact info such as phone email and address and at the bottom to have three separate buttons. each button being call sms and email respectively. I am also trying to make use of the hole screen realest on my nexus 5 so when you open the app the main top bar just underneath battery meter an notifcations I want to be red and read Contact list. but in android studio that bar seems to always be black and with an android logo i've got to change the text but I cant seem to get rid of the android or change the colour. any help would be great thanks. its a daunting task for a beginner but I've always been one to just mess around an try things rather than trying to learn coding indervidully as i'm more of a do it an see kinda person. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
