I'm posting for the first time. I was not making a call at the time the RC33 update warning came on my screen. If not for subscribing to this groups e.mail messages I was not even aware there was an update coming! Thank you all for your posts as not one word, newsletter, text, nada! From T Mobile. After 5 years I expected better. Tech support knows little or nothing of the G1 but I still prefer tech. Support over Cust.Svc.? I have been told many odd things by that dept. What is a G1? Lol? True story. Tech support offered to unlock my phone last night. I was told "since you have been a loyal customer for 5 years, 5mos and 12 days we will unlock your G1 for free!" All you have to do is find a carrier to support the calls you make. That's the point good reception where I have none? Oh well I had to laugh. Ok I'll think about it? Thanks again for developers! I would have been in the dark when the RC33 came through on Feb 11th 2009 at 12 noon.
