Perhaps I just missed the option somewhere within Android Studio or perhaps Google just has this baffling aversion to a decent API lookup within the IDE. Is there ANY WAY to use the F1 command or ANY shortcut on top of any command within the editor and have it open a browser page to do an API lookup on the Android API reference page? For me to manually copy the command, navigate to the Android Development page, paste the command, and then select it from the list of entries is needlessly slow, especially after 50 times.
I'm guessing Google has made this simple, obvious ability difficult to impossible to achieve so I will skip ahead and ask if there is a way to coax Android Studio into behaving like a normal IDE and allowing me to do full and proper lookups. I'm open to some external app monitoring Android Studio to act as a permanent bandaid. I am using Windows 7 and the latest Android Studio (v1.4.1) Thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
