My main development system for Android is a Mandriva linux 64 bit system with glibc 2.13.
Everything worked fine until yesterday when I "upgraded" the SDK tools and the whole system became incompatible due to need for glibc 2.14 and 2.15 There was no advance check of compatibility and now there is no way of rolling back to SDK tools 23.
