I'd agree with Jonyd. I've been developing on a 2010 vintage core i5 with only 4GB RAM. It mostly has worked ok - it takes between 1 - 2 mins to put everything together and run it, and to be honest I've always avoided the emulator which took approximately a year* to start. I have a couple of devices I test on and that has always worked much better.
I'm just upgrading to a new i7 with 16 GB RAM and an SSD as we speak so looking forward to the improvement! Kind regards Quentin. *possibly a slight exaggeration, maybe by a month or so. -- 22 Point Web: http://www.22point.com.au Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/22Point Twitter: https://twitter.com/22PointApps Check out our first app, RapiTap! - Tap targets fast & avoid decoys: Adrenaline pumping, Challenging, Accessible! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.com.twentytwopoint.rapitap Free trial: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.com.twentytwopoint.rapitapfree On 6 January 2016 at 15:32, Jonyd M. <[email protected]> wrote: > The specification you have mentioned above are good to go.
