I am trying to create an application that receives text messages from my mobile phone and then displays them on another device such as a tablet. Just curious if anyone has any recommendations on where/how to start? The android developer site has a lot of information show how to implement this on a wearable device using NotificationCompat.Builder but I am not sure if this applies to handheld devices as well. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
