I would like to purchase an Android phone to test software I create in Android Studio. I would like to use the phone when I run a project in Android Studio. Will any Android phone work with the current highest API or would the phone limit what API I can test on it? I am basically looking for the cheapest phone I can use to test an Android Studio project using the current highest API.
