Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
- Implement performance and quality modules
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Required experience:
- 6+ years of progressive experience in analysis, technical design,
coding, and testing of PC/Internet based applications. Mobile development
experience also strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language
specification
- Some exposure in C# is also required
- Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and
algorithms
- Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected
environments
- Understanding of dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions, such
as friend classes
- Familiarity with templating in C++
- Familiarity with system call wrapper library functions
- Knowledge of component data sheets and specifications
- Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN,
and Mercurial}}
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a
related field or related experience/work equivalent.
Other skills must have:
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a multi-lingual, multicultural environment
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Position: Pega System Architect
Location: West Norristown, PA
Duration : Contract
Customer : HCL America
We need candidates that have done their certification at least 3 years
prior to today’s date. Request them to provide details of certification
including date.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage allocation of time efficiently between multiple simultaneous
project phases.
- Working within the guidelines and direction of the IT eDBR development
teams and providing weekly updates regarding status of current and planned
activities
- Provide weekly status report and input into time management systems
(Clarity, IQNavigator).
- Adhering to Scrum development methodologies.
- Candidate will be able to participate and provide input to the team at
the scrum and demonstration & retrospective' meetings
- Providing concise and comprehensive technical documentation, including
Design Specifications.
- Consultant resources will be responsible for the following
deliverables:
1. Requirements gathering and documentation
2. Detailed design document
3. Coding
4. Creating test plans
5. Software configuration and migration.
6. Remediation of identified failures
7. Project documentation updated in internal documentation system.
Scope of Services –
Pega PRPC, XML, REST, IBM MQSeries - Consultant will provide 1 resource to
augment the IT eDBR team in a staff augmentation role with the following
skills:
· Pega CLSA preferred or Pega CSSA with extensive experience.
· Extensive experience with Pega PRPC.
o Including Designer Studio
o Rules
o Data
o Reports
o Indexing
o Scheduled tasks
o Configuring REST integration
o System tuning, and system maintenance
· Experience with Pega integration tools and Pega API.
· Experience with IBM MQSeries messaging and REST.
· Strong skills in identification and remediation of application defects.
· Strong analytical and communication skills to be able to work closely
with business partners to gather and document requirements.
· Strong writing skills to be able to create clear and concise project
documents: Design, Test Plans.
