I have locked my phone using Android Device Manager and are not able to unlock it. When I try to set a new password using ADM it doesn't work and I get the message that there is already a password active. But or it is too long for my phone, or I forgot it, but I am unable to unlock it. I don't want to erase my phone because of valuable content stored on it. I have a samsung phone but no password pattern nor am I able to unlock it through my Samsung account. I searched internet extensively for a solution, and it seems that this is a malfunction of adm for which Google is not able to provide a solution nor any answer for a multitude of people that suffered from the same issue. Is that so?
