The perfect candidate must have recent experience with Cisco Nexus, Fabric Path, and prior experience within a Cisco data center. * This position delineates design, installs and operates the infrastructure that supports all physical and logical links within the Enterprise Network. This support includes infrastructure builds for Data Centers, Recovery Centers, Trading Desks, Call Centers and attached devices. Resume *MUST reflect true Cisco network engineers* with granular detail regarding specific assignments/employment opportunities. Resume should detail hands on experience and the environment. MUST have prior experience within a *Cisco data center*. Hiring Manager not looking for candidate who has security focused background or experience. *Network engineer with experience of Cisco network products such as Cisco Nexus 9K, 7k, 6K, 5k, 3K and 2k. * *Applicant should have experience and knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN and WAN topologies, Wi-Fi, WAP’s, routers, switches, hubs, VPN’s, IPsec, DHCP, DNS, WINS, and SNMP. * *Layer 3 routing experience should include EIGRP and OSPF* routing protocols. Experience configuring, installing and supporting *Layer 2 technologies like Cisco Fabric Path and VPC technologies a plus*. Typical duties include: Maintaining and upgrading Enterprise data, Voice and Video network equipment. Supporting and operating Enterprise network and also DR facilities networks. Provide and support a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external VPN networks.
