I recently started to learn how to develop game using unity 3D. So my first game I learnt to develop was Flappy bird.
I coded it my own way (dynamic obstacle, camera not moving). I used the sprites that was provided by someone(the same as the original Flappy bird), didn't know there is impersonation problem as I've seen Flappy bird clones in playstore. When I try to upload to Google play store, it was rejected because of impersonation. There's a few questions I would like to ask : - if I come out with my own sprites but the game meta(tap to fly and avoid obstacles) is still the same as Flappy bird, will it still fall under impersonation? - What are the things I should avoid / not do if I want to develop a "Flappy bird" like game? E.g I should not include the word Flappy in my title when uploading my apk to play store. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
