*Roles & Responsibilities SQL (L3) -- Onsite* • Be an integral part of technical team providing support. • Work directly with clients in managing their requests, understanding their requirements and translating functional requirements to technical specifications through hands-on analysis and coordinating with the onsite and offshore team for development. • Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of scheduled processes. • Demonstrate expert understanding. • Support all level of users within the company and in projects. • Participate in all the stakeholders and business team meetings to understand the requirements and also provide the status to the respective end user. • Ensure quality deliverables to client by performing reviews. • Install, configure and upgrade of Microsoft SQL Server/MySQL server software and related products. • Evaluate MSSQL/MySQL features and MSSQL/MySQL related products. • Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures. • Perform database design and implementation. • Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges) • Tune the database and monitor performance. • Tune the applications and monitor application performance. • Setup and maintain documentation and standards. • Plan growth and changes (capacity planning). • Work as part of a team and provide 7×24 supports when required. • Do general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams. • Interface with MSSQL/MySQL for technical support. *Technical Skills*: Minimum 7-10 years relevant experience on SQL Server Database Administration Should have worked extensively on Production systems, Installation & Configuration of SQL Server 2012 / SQL Server 2008 / MS SQL Server 2005 , Performance monitoring (SQL profiler, Performance dashboard, Perfmon, Spotlight, etc), Performance tuning existing code with developers (reviewing stored procs/views/triggers etc) Index tuning, Partitioning, Triggers, Database fragmentation & compression, Apply Patches & Hot fix Database Mirroring (Build, Roll, maintenance & troubleshooting), Replication (Transactional & Peer to Peer), Clustering , Backups & restores, Server monitoring (MOM, Tivoli, etc), Data modeling SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) , DTS, Experience on operational incident and project case Experience on SQL Server 2012 would be added advantage * TOTAL EXPERIENCE :* * RELEVANT EXPERIENCE :* * OFFICIAL NOTICE PERIOD -* * CURRENT RATE PER HOUR -* * VISA STATUS -* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
