This should include code migrations, environment cloning, configuration, maintenance troubleshooting and support. 2) A minimum of 5 to 7 years Oracle DBA experience and in-depth understanding of Oracle Databases including current 10g/11g. 3) A minimum of 1-2 years experience in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) 10g/11g. 4) Hands on experience on Oracle EBS shared application file systems and DR solutions like 10g/11g Data Guard. 5) Proficient in all aspects of "system administration" functionality within Oracle E-Business Suite. 6) Hands on experience with applications/tech stack/database upgrades, cloning, patching, and backups/recovery. 7) Good Understanding of Storage, Network, server technology, operating systems for optimal application performance. 8) Hands on experience on configuration and maintenance of Oracle Identity Management Infrastructure and Single Sign On (SSO). Integration of SSO/OID with Oracle E-Business Suite R12. 9) Experience in supporting Development and Production environments. 10) Experience in supporting Exadata and Exalogic hardware. *Education / Certifications* · Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience (*required*). *2.* *Oracle Exadata Exalogic* *Duration: Long Term* *Rate: DOE* *Location: Irving, TX* *Preferably consultants should work on our W2.* *Essential Responsibilities:* · Work with internal business and customer teams to understand solution requirements. · Collaborate with business units, data owners and IT to successfully implement the customer solution. · Ensuring the setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Commercial Off The Shelf applications and a custom Data Warehouse solution consisting of, but not limited to Oracle Exadata, Oracle Exalogic, ZFS storage devices in an accurate and timely manner. · Interface with the business and customer teams pertaining to all technical matters. · Provide necessary status updates and monthly reports to the business and customer teams. · Create necessary delivery estimates. · Translate complex functional, technical and business requirements into architectural designs and ensure that the technical teams act on those designs. · Coordinate with Delivery Project Manager and Business Analyst to project scope and compile delivery estimates. · Continually review and suggest improvements to the Data Warehouse processes, policies, and vision and explore new and emerging technologies. · Display a demonstrated ability in communicating the overall customer data architecture to both technical and business constituencies. · Performance Management & Monitoring - Implement and manage processes and applications to proactively monitor the health and welfare of Truven Health Analytics technology environments to address concerns and issues before they happen. · Infrastructure Availability Management - Develop and manage processes designed to meet or exceed services levels for infrastructure availability. · Capacity Management - Create and manage forecasting processes designed to ensure platform capabilities are adequate for business environment needs. · Maintenance & Configuration Management - Ensure effective processes are in place to continuously refresh platform, maintain proper OS levels, and proactively apply security patches. *REQUIRED Skills and Experience* · 8+ years of Data Center experience working with networking, storage, and computer platforms. · 2+ years of Windows/Linux system administration experience. · 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following database engines: (Teradata, Netezza, Oracle, SQL Server) and/or experience with one or more of the following ETL tools: (SAS, Informatica, DataStage, Ab Initio). · 3+ years of experience working with external customers. · 3+ years of experience working with hardware vendors. Examples include IBM, Oracle, EMC, etc. · Experience with multiple hardware platforms and devices from HP, Dell, Cisco, Oracle, Teradata and other industry standard providers. · Experience with enterprise software packages in regard to installation, sizing, and integration. Examples include but are not limited to Cognos, SAS BI, Oracle RDBMS, Informatica, VMware ESX, and IBM WebSphere. · Demonstrated strong analytical skills. · Demonstrated strong partnering skills. · Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal. · Demonstrated strong facilitation and presentation skills. · Proven knowledge of estimation processes. · Ability to multi-task amongst several priorities. · Ability to learn new technologies quickly through self-study. *PREFERRED Skills and Experience* · 1-3 Years experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Exadata, Oracle Exalogic. · 1-3 years working with MS Project and Visio. · 1-3 years experience working in matrixed organizations. *Education / Certifications* · Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience (*required*). -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
