2. Assist in data migration projects
1. Effectively communicate with teams to define requirements
2. Document workflow and field mapping
3. Design ETL process and follow appropriate development life cycle
1. T-SQL scripting
1. Write stored procedures to retrieve data for Tableau reporting and
APIs
2. Ad hoc query
1. Build relational database to house insurance rates/data
2. Database source control
3. Administer AWS servers (database and web) running Server 2012 R2
1. Monitor server/storage volume status from AWS console
2. Configure inbound/outbound firewall rules
3. Maintain/configure OpenVPN access
1. Maintain SQL Server 2012 instance
1. Backup and recovery
2. Promote databases/scripts across environments
3. Design and maintain indexes
4. Manage security rules
5. Manage SQL Agent jobs
1. Develop SSRS packages
*Requirements:*
- Microsoft SQL developer with special expertise in the area of ETL and
using SSIS.
- San Francisco local that can work in the downtown i3 WeWork office.
- Preferably younger in age that brings energy and creativity.
- Skills above and beyond MSQL/SSIS/ETL are a tremendous bonus.
