Position: .Net Team Lead Location: Irving, TX Contract: C2C Interview: Telephone, then F-2-F Overview: Client's Core Banking App is currently written in Progress. Progress is also the database. There are currently two persons that support this application, which has been highly customized. One is a full-time employee and the other is a contractor. Both have significant Progress experience. Since client is moving to SQL Server over a period of years, as users make requested changes affecting the Banking App written in Progress, the .Net Team Lead is to work with the Development Manager and determine if the request can be written in C# or must still be made in Progress. When a decision is reached, the .Net Team Lead will direct the work of the two Progress Developers to set the schedule for completion of the project and ensure that the work is done. The .Net Team Lead will run interference between the users and the Development Manager. The future plan is to de-customize the application and hand it over to the vendor. This person MUST have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (9.5 out of 10) Having a Retail Banking background in the Investments/Swaps/Trades industry would be a serious plus.
