*Job Description:                              *

The customer is looking for a Senior Automated QA tester with strong
automation experience (writing test scripts from scratch).



*Qualifications*



• Has 5-8 yrs of testing experience, knowledgeable on testing processes and
methodologies

• Evaluates and recognizes ambiguity in software requirements and elicits
the appropriate level of detail

• Expertise with automation tools (loading requirements, creating test
cases, executing test cases, generating reports, logging defects)

• Experience in Functional, Integration and End-to-End testing across
enterprise wide products

• Ability to write test cases referring to Use cases, business requirements
and technical design docs

• Ability to identify and set-up/create test data for test cases

• Ability to run daily defect triage calls, report defect status and manage
defect assignments

• Ability to execute test cases, identify/log defects, capture detailed
defect

• Flexible and adaptable in the face of changing priorities or
circumstances

• Communicates testing status to key business stakeholders

• Respond to testing enquiries from users, provide demo of applications
tested in QA, walkthrough of QA test cases, defects, tools

• Re-test UAT defects in QA environment



You design and execute tests for an application/system based on the
Software Architecture (models and principles). You perform many of the
roles required for a software test project; e.g. defect management, test
analysis and supporting acceptance tests. Typically these roles are
performed as part of a team of software testers containing the experience
and skills required to deliver successfully.



• Should have progressing skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge,
Testing Lifecycle, Testing Expertise, Testing Techniques, Testing
Management, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Quality
Management.
