*Duration: 6 + Months * *NEED LOCALS. F2F REQUIRED* *Job Description: * Our large government client is look for an experienced J2EE Developer to assist with project work and technical maintenance. *Responsibilities include:* Update legacy J2EE applications to utilize newer versions of the JEE6 stack and leverage standard design patterns as implemented within the HJIP application portfolio. *Work may include:* Rewriting portions of application persistence (EJB 2 entity beans to JPA) Modernizing user interface code (JSF 1.X to JSF2/PrimeFaces/CDI) Transitioning business layer components from EJB2 to EJB3 session beans Enhance an existing JEE document management application to include an administrative console for merging case records/documents and correcting case metadata. Assist with the design and development of a new JEE application for managing lookup/configuration tables that are used by applications across the HJIP portfolio.
