*This is Neha from Apetan consulting,* *Please find the below job description and send me your update resume matching to it along with Contact details, Current location, Visa and Availability ASAP.* *POSITION: Oracle DBA* * INTERVIEW: Phone than F2F Interview* *LOCATION: Minneapolis|MN* *DURATION:1 YEAR* *START :ASAP* *Job Overview:* *Please don’t submit H1B* *Oracle DBA* *The person hired for the position of Oracle Database Administrator will have three or more years’ experience supporting multi-terabyte Oracle databases; ensure 24/7 availability, performance, backup, recovery and security, varied and complex duties and tasks that require independent judgment in order to implement, support and maintain Oracle products and technology * *Job Description*: *Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:* Excellent Oracle System/Application DBA skills including HADR, RAC environments Ensure the availability, performance, recovery and security of the databases Design and implement database infrastructure, including performance monitoring, capacity planning, and automation of database related processes Develop scripts on Linux and Oracle, DBMS jobs, stored procedures and functions to automate DBA tasks and monitoring. *Willingness to be on-call in rotation with other staff * *Basic Qualifications: * High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited learning institution Minimum 5 years of IT experience in any combination of the following: Systems Administration, Linux Administration and scripting, Relational Database Administration, Software Development, and/or Software Quality Assurance Testing Experience in the administration of DB2 Databases, Oracle, Sybase, and/or SQL Server Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; Computer Engineering; Computer Software Engineering; Computer and Information Sciences or other Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics disciplines Oracle Database Administration experience including installing, patching, and upgrading Oracle 11g and 12c databases Experience supporting Oracle 11g-12c RAC environments on Linux. In-depth knowledge of RMAN and Oracle ASM Experience using Oracle Grid Control / Oracle Cloud Control Experience in Shell/Perl scripting knowledge is desirable Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Export Control Eligible Experience creating and maintaining functions, packages, triggers Experience with performance and tuning in a large DBMS environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to assess and resolve complex technical issues Ability to work independently Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads under time constraints Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group. Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, access, and backup for enterprise wide systems. Technologies supported include operating systems, servers, networks, system security, hardware and other software applications. *Responsibilities:* Troubleshoot system issues and resolve or recommend solutions. Create and manage system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures. Create patches and updates as needed. Participate in the definition and implementation of system components including new servers, hardware, software and upgrades. Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot operating systems.
