Hi, I am developing Maps application and want to give routes information and driving direction support in my Application.
I saw the similar support in Android inbuilt maps application, But i could not find the similar APIs support in Android SDK "Maps" Package. But i read the there was one package " googlenav" under "Maps" in earlier version of SDK. As Android SDK 1.0 does not provide support for this. My Query: I think, i will have to use google web APIs instead of Android , What are those google APIs for driving directions? and Can i get those API details which can be accessed through simple Http request/response method. I know that google provides support for Java Script APIs for driving directions and Navigation But i want to use Http request./response mechanism for that.
