*Splunk Architect* *Location: Richardson, TX* *Duration:12months+* Seeking experienced Splunk Architect with 6+ years of Splunk expertise and at least 3+ years of experience in large scale enterprise level solutions. A career track record of engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining business critical systems with technical expertise including hands on solution development and implementation experience. Team Player with proven leadership, communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: • Implementation of Splunk infrastructure, deployment, products, apps, reports, alerts, and dashboards • Installation of search heads, deployment servers, indexers & Enterprise Security App • Perform scripted installation of all splunk components • Manage Splunk knowledge objects (Apps, Dashboards, Saved Searches, Scheduled Searches, Alerts, etc.) • Responsible for working with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues with Splunk installation • Role requires significant interaction with many different teams across a global company. Requirements: • 3+ years of experience with Splunk on a large enterprise level • Experience with Splunk premium apps such as Splunk ES is required • 6+ years in IT infrastructure, networking, architecture, administration, or security • Experience in architecting/developing/deploying/configuration of customized technical add-ons • Ability to multitask and solve complex technical problems • PERL/Linux shell scripting/Regex experience would be highly preferable • Splunk training and/or certifications would be a major plus • BS/BA in related discipline Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related Math or Science discipline. In addition to 5+ years of experience in any related Information Technology field. Will consider additional related industry experience in lieu of degree. • Certified Splunk Architect • Extensive experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, and security event correlation. • Excellent troubleshooting skills, self-motivated, results-driven and well organized. • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and have the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management.
