Hi everyone, I've got a question about subscription. I've read here <https://play.google.com/intl/en/about/monetization-ads/> that :
- Developers offering products within another category of app downloaded on Google Play must use Google Play In-app Billing <https://developer.android.com/google/play/billing/index.html> as the method of payment, except for the following cases: - - Payment is for digital *content that may be consumed outside of the app itself* (e.g. songs that can be played on other music players). So, I've an Android app called CookMinute <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cookminute.cookminute>. I also have it's iOS version <https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cookminute/id1089192296> (called CookMinute too, obviously). A web version of CookMinute is currently under development. CookMinute *provides healthy recipes and a lot of features* to help you better eat. *I would like to add a monthly subscription to CookMinute (Maybe 1,99€ per month).* If I follow Google rules, CookMinute content may be consumed outside the app (*via the iOS and soon via the website*), doesn't it ? Anybody from Google can approve/disapprove this reasoning ? Thanks in advance for your answers, Phil Founder of CookMinute -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
