The 5 Day Close initiative is to produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements within five business days of month-end. The current monthly close cycle extends 14 business days. · This will allow for timely strategic decisions by leadership, appropriately utilize resources currently engaged 14 business days out of the month on the closing process. · The Plan will be able to focus on the results of the close, improving the close itself and responding to the findings. This is a multi-year project that launched in April 2015. · Once 5 day close project on track could support another project 3 months or so down the road. · Time in *PlanView i*s going to critical for the success in role (used for all status, risk, change management) · *Handling schedules, action items, setting up meetings, taking meeting notes, etc.* · The candidate must have strong all round soft skills and high level of proficiency using written and oral communication skills.
