This problem has been resolved with clearing the cache 

webview.clearCache(true);
webview.destroyDrawingCache();

However a Fatal signal 7 (SIGBUS) at 0x00000000 (code=128), thread 13497 
(WebViewCoreThre) occurs so let's get to that one ...
