Hi, JOB : Sr .Devops Location: Charlotte, NC &Virginia -banking 10+Years About the Role/position Opening for a CI/CD, DevOps or Release Automation Lead (Depends on what you call it). A successful candidate will have a background in automating software deployment and release pipelines. The candidate should have experience as a developer even if they are more CI automation focused now. Either way the candidate should have a successful track record of delivering automated release pipelines for agile development squads. Automated deployment is a key skill. Responsibilities: • Define and drive design and operationalization of the release pipeline for Agile squads developing RESTful APIs • Write automation scripts for Jenkins / CI Jobs • Orchestrate, report on and build monitoring for release pipeline • Provide training and best practices for Agile squads so that they understand and adopt release automation & practices • Drive continuous improvement of release automation • Hands on and strategic thinker who can define the vision as much as build the pipeline Must have Technical Requirements / Qualifications • 3+ years of doing deployment automation • 5+ years of software development experience • Experience with Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, Puppet • Experience with uDeploy, GoCD or other deployment software • Experience with Agile, SCRUM, BDD, TDD • Experience with test automation desirable • Experience with RESTful APIs desirable • Desire to learn new tools, skills & technology • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Great consulting presence & conform in front of clients.
