Must be able to “dig in” and make sure that the tests will meet the objective. - *Must have JDA 5.5 (2009.1) or similar experience (Red Prairie)* - *Experience with WSUS a plus* - Performs installation or modification of software testing programs - Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements - Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software - Reviews new or modified program, including documentation, diagram, and flow chart, to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines - Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers - Reviews logs and errors to identify program processing errors - Enters instructions into application to test program for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to establishment standards - Writes documentation to describe testing and correction - Documents test requirements, test execution, and test results in a timely fashion - Assists with gathering of functional requirements, gap analysis, and design documents with a focus on customer integration - Establishes priorities and executes to achieve results - Collaborates with support and developer resources to provide quality solutions - Communicates effectively with manager, peers, and internal customers to relay status of work and raise challenges, concerns, questions, and issues as necessary - Produces status reports as needed following standards.
