We are looking for a *Wi-Fi Development Engineer* *in San Jose, CA.* Job Title : *Wi-Fi Development Engineer* Location : * San Jose, CA* Duration : 6+ Months *Job Description*:– · Participate on a project team of engineers involved in the *Maintenance and Development of VoIP * · *software for Cisco IP Telephony endpoint *products. · Require strong background in problem solving including trouble-shooting, log analysis and code analysis, also in SW design of VOIP products with expertise of WLAN (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) . · Very experienced in C, C++ in embedded and real-time system and products. · Industry expert level domain knowledge and experiences working on WLAN protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and 802.11i and 802.11e) and In depth understanding of WPA supplicant and 802.1x protocols. · Very strong ability to use Wildpackets and Wireshark to analyze, debug and quickly understand and isolate the problems and work solutions or work-around to resolve Cisco customer’s WiFi issue very quickly. · Ability to solve system wide problems with a focus on Infrastructure, Signaling and Multi-Process/Thread synchronicity and performance in Linux-like environment. · Experiences with more than one of the LAN/WAN and network layer protocols like TCP, HTTP · At least 3 years of direct software engineering experiences preferably in VoIP WLAN (802.11) technologies, infrastructure, protocols, OS and devices. · Strong knowledge of advanced software architecture principles and design practices · Be able to work under high stress and flexible hours · Proficiency in English, speaking, and esp. writing, capable of communicating with native English speakers · Working Experiences with USA based multi-national companies is a strong plus Looking forward to hear from you!
