*Title: Product Analyst * *Location: Mountain View, CA*
*Duration: Long term*. *Job Description:* · This role is responsible for working with product managers as well as remote teams to provide the best structured data possible. · This person will be tasked with having an in-depth understanding of the assigned product, managing its description, identification, nomenclature, and developing product level policies and driving quality through product knowledge, product description, identification, nomenclature, and classification, and audits. · This person will be working closely with the product managers to exchange information and a build relationship. This person will report directly to the project / program manager · Understand all the features and areas of your assigned product. · Create and maintain up-to-date training material for the product. · Build and maintain a relationship with our product stake holders . · Schedule and attend regular syncs with our clients and partners to discuss product issues or other agenda items. · Work with stake holders to create and manage product based policies. · Create new and manage existing product taxonomies (product description, identification, nomenclature, and classification) based on both requirements from product and existing taxonomy policies and guidelines. · Ensure that members of the operations team are trained on the most up to date product taxonomy ((product description, identification, nomenclature, and classification) taxonomy policy and classification guidelines. · Answer questions from the operations team about classification and give feedback to them about low classification quality. · Audit work done by the operations team and provide feedback to them. · Perform ad hoc requests, analysis or experiments from product, taxonomy or other groups. *Desired Skills and Experience:* · Good communication and organizational skills. · Good analytical skills with a flair to understand problem area and make data-driven decisions. · Experience leading, mentoring or working with offshore/remote teams or vendors. · Willing to work with and train extended remote teams, some flexibility in work hours. · Tech savvy, understand product functionality, good background on recent happenings in technology · Willingness to learn and work hard. · Open to take on additional projects and responsibilities. *Bonus Points:* · Previous experience with training classification algorithms and/or product analysis, description, identification, nomenclature, and classification · Interest/experience with data analysis.
