Hi all, it is about notification receiving behavior on different devices, I've tested on HTC One M8, Huawei P9, both running Android 6 – Marshmallow.

I would like to confirm if it is the "natural" behavior how's the device manufacturers have make it that way to interact with the notification? and why? any concern to make it behave differently from different manufacturer?

Both devices shown different behavior at "Close App" scenario. Below is my test result.

===========================
I noticed in Huawei P9

a) close the app, it is equivalent to press "Force stop" in the App Info setting menu. => No notification will receive

[The "Force stop" disabled in the App Info]

===========================
However, in HTC One M8,

a) closed the app, => receive notification

b) press "Force stop" in the App Info setting menu. => No notification will receive

I suspected Huawei P9 "close app" will close the notification service too beside close the app.

However HTC One M8 just terminate the app but not the service, so HTC One M8 able to receive the notification.

Thanks
