*Job Title: IT - Consultant | Database Administration | DB2 on Open Systems - UDB* *Start/End Dates: 12/15/2016* *Work Location: 8910 Ridgeline Blvd Highlands Ranch CO* *Contract duration (in months) 9* *Target Start Date 15-Dec-2016* Job Details: Must Have Skills (Top 2 technical skills only) 3.DB2 UDB Database Administration and Management(DB2 UDB DBA) v9 and v10 4.Data partitioning feature skills should be included in the candidate 5.Administration, configuration and support of DB2 Database Environment 6.Understanding of AIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems 7.Experience in performing maintenance activities. 8.Experience in DB2 High Availability(HADR, TSA) 9.Knowledge of Backup and Recovery, shell Scripting. 10.Should have knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager(OEM) 11.Experience of Space management activities like Table space creation, modification, etc. 12.Experience in Automatic Storage databases 13.Implementing Business Continuity Solutions like Database refresh, cloning, Database Backups, etc. 14.Experience in resolving incident management tickets of Database Environment 15.Opening PMR with IBM through phone or tickets in case of Database failures or any support required & driving them to closure 16.Participate in Database Maintenance and DR activities 17.Have worked on Database maintenance activities using security and access control tools. 18.Monitoring the database on regular basis for performance and other issues. 19.Able to resolve performance issues using various tools. 20.DB2 UDB Database v9 and v10. 21.DB2 HADR, Shell Scripting 22.DB2 UDB Certification is added advantage 23.Operating systems like Windows, Unix, AIX, Linux Nice to have skills (Top 2 only) 1.1.
