*DevOps Engineer* *Location: Rosslyn, VA (some telework offered once established)* *Position Type: 1.5 year contract* *Interview Mode: Phone then F2F* *Requirements* · 3+ years Either application development experience or ongoing operational support of a Production application · Skilled problem solver with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions · MUST have experience supporting production applications using most of the following technologies/frameworks: o Linux-based operating systems (e.g., Unix) o AWS Cloud infrastructure (e.g., EC2, RDS, CloudWatch) o Oracle RDMBS (including Oracle 12) and SQL · Desired, but not required: experience resolving issues and/or developing in applications using: o Java web application development o Atlassian Suite (e.g., Confluence, Bamboo, JIRA) · Client facing or consulting experience highly preferred · Respond to, investigate and resolve routine issues and client ad-hoc requests in Production and lower environments personnel (e.g., investigate system performance concerns) · Actively monitor system health and escalate issues to development team during client business events · Perform and/or support application testing (e.g., regression testing, performance testing) · Recommend solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of solution alternatives · Manage and maintain user access credentials for Production and lower environments · Manage and maintain system documentation (e.g., user guides, operating procedures) · Participate in regular team sprint-planning and operational planning discussions · Availability to support Production events (e.g., code deployments and client peak business events) at defined periods during the year; during peak, availability may be required from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM ET *Thanks,* *Shyamsundar* *Saligram Systems Inc* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
