Hi, I am developing an app exclusively for Android TV boxes. This app caters to display DTH channels in Android app using the following mechanisms:
1. If DTH box renders channels through HDMI, this HDMI is provided as input to Android TV box. My app should read this continuous stream and display in surface view or similar. 2. If TV channels are rendered through AV, this AV is read by TV tuner card which in turn outputs a USB stream. My app must read this continuous USB stream and display it in any of the views. And help pointing in this direction would be greatly appreciated, for it has been months that I have been searching for a solution to this.
