*Job Description:*

• *Deployment-Build-Test Engineers* – Engineers will work with various
departments, project managers and video staff to build out infrastructure
that will provide Spectrum Guide back office systems that will bring a new
video experience to our customers.

• *Launch Support/Test/Triage Engineers* – Engineers will work to ensure
that Spectrum Guide Market Builds that have been built by the
Deployment/Build/Test Engineers is ready for customer deployment. Engineers
will work with Field Operations/Testing Teams to resolve various issues
related to the build out of Spectrum Guide infrastructure. Engineers will
be responsible for systems approximately 1 month before customer launch to
1 month post customer launch.

• *Launch Support AWS Engineer* – In additional to above, engineer must
have amazon web services experience and will coordinate with the
Microservice Support team (Cloud Infrastructure Operations)

• *Planning and Implementation Engineers* – Engineers will be responsible
for making changes to customer launched market changes to the
infrastructure. Engineers will augment an existing team (Video
Infrastructure Operations).



*Job Requirements:*

   - 3-5+ years experience as a Linux system administrator
   - Strong communication and documentation skills
   - Scripting experience (python/bash/perl)
   - Strong troubleshooting skills
   - Comfortable with command line
   - Comfortable reading logs (for example: SPLUNK or ELK)
   - use of monitoring tools (ie, Icinga, Nagios)
   - Strong understanding of how to create/follow a method of procedure to
   troubleshoot/maintain and configure systems
   - Comfortable working in a variety of different technology environments:
   web, TV and mobile; front and back-end design utilizing proprietary and
   open source platforms, as well as back-end      administrative systems
   - A nearly overpowering desire to automate balanced with a necessary
   amount of pragmatism
   - An open mind as to how automation may be accomplished
   - Video application experience is helpful but not required (i.e.
   Conditional Access, VOD etc
   - *Work with the following common technologies*

o    VMs (VM Ware)

o    RedHat

o    Java

o    Tomcat

o    Postgres

o    Oracle
