Senior Java Software Developer, (Java/JEE, Javascript, SQL, Spring) My client are looking to recruit a Senior Java Software Developer. The role will see the successful candidate taking responsibility for the development of new features across their suite of products. The candidate will be expected to analyse requirements, provide suitable designs and take part in the development, testing and future maintenance of the systems. Successful candidates will join a software team working across their suite of products using a wide variety of technologies. My client strongly encourage proactive learning, and personal development. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: - Analysis of product requirements. - Proposal of suitable technical solutions to the technical architect. - Estimate resources and identify risks to achieve project goals. - Develop and deliver software to agreed timescales. - Ability to work within a small development team, providing support to other team members where necessary. Essential skills and experience: - Proven experience of a software design and development. - Technically excellent with experience in some or all of the following: Java/JEE, Javascript, SQL, Oracle/ADF, Selenium, Linux, SPRING. - Ability to work on multiple tasks or projects and prioritise effectively. - Self-starter who is highly organised, communicative, quick learner, and team oriented. - Excellent verbal and communication skills. Candidates must hold a 2.1 or higher degree in a Computing, Science, Engineering or Mathematics discipline.
