Openshift Adminstrator
Location: Jacksonville Florida Duration: Long term Requirements: TOP THREE REQUIRED SKILLS: Experience integrating Open Source technologies with Vendor products., OpenShift by RedHat and NODEJS (extensive experience with JavaScript Technologies). OpenShift is being implemented and need this resource 100% onsite for infrastructure support, installation and configuration. Required: 7 or more years demonstrated proficiency and experience in design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting technical infrastructure or development Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience. 2 or more years of experience supporting PaaS implementations, specifically Red Hat OpenShift. 3 or more years of experience supporting Java Script technologies like node.js, express.js, angular, D3 and react.js. 2 or more years of experience supporting Nginix, apache web server, Tomcat, SSL and certificate management. Experience with supporting and automating infrastructure with Jenkins, GitHub and/or other versioning tools. Experience integrating Open Source technologies with Vendor products. Strong automation and scripting experience. Extensive working knowledge of multiple technologies, interfaces and integration. Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system. Experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy. Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment Proven leadership abilities including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness. Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences. Preferred: Experience using Agile methodology Extensive knowledge of Open Source technologies. Experience working for large scale enterprises. Experience with IBM Pure Application System and WAS Liberty is a plus.
