Senior Java Developer with Experience in *HL7 Interface*
Summary of Position
• Work individually or in teams to analyze enhancements, software
installations, server configurations, system migrations and support
• Install Orion health Rahpsody integration engine, IDE, develop Rhapsody
routes and data transformation EDI modules
• Work with business analysts to define requirements and create data
mapping/transformation rules
• Follow Systems Development Methodology Lifecycle ensuring on time project
delivery with the highest possible quality
• Qualified applicant should have 8+ years of programming experience in a
complex, multi-platform environment
Responsibilities
• Design and develop
o Rhapsody routes for message validation and processing
o *Data mapping/transformation modules using Rhapsody EDI tools*
o Design and develop webservice interfaces
o Develop and enhance applications and code in accordance to SDLC
methodology, best practices and departmental policies and standards
o Analyze business and functional requirements inorder to collaborate with
the Applications Architect and functional leads to propose and document
technical solutions
o Create and execute functional integration test plans
o Self-managed, responsive and dedicated to exceptional customer support
• Provide timely updates and meet internal and client deadlines with high
quality deliverables
• Experience working with project teams to architect, design and deliver
solutions to meet business requirements.
Experience
• 8+ years of technical experience as well as minimum of Bachelor’s degree
in computer science or related program
Skills Required
• Strong background in J2EE/JAVA,XML, XSD, XSLT, jQuery, Javascript
• In *depth knowledge of Health Level Seven (HL7) standards*
• Knowledge of encryption standards and technology, strong secure data
exchange background, expertise in secure exchange protocols
• Strong database design skills, relations database design concepts
• Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies,
design and implementation
• Excellent interpersonal skills including crisis management, conflict
management and client maangement
