We are seeking a Cognos Architect to support a Data Audit and Balance project effort. This candidate will be responsible for design, development and implementation of Enterprise BI Applications based on IBM Cognos.
LOCATION: WASHINGTON DC MOI:F2F *Timeline: * - February 1st – in-person interview - February 13th – tentative start date RATE:DOE The candidate is expected to hold the vision and foresees the system before it is built and oversees the technical solution from design to deployment. *Required Skills:* - 8+ years of relevant design and architecture experience in IBM Cognos Business Intelligence Projects - 3 years’ experience SQL and authoring reports against relational and multi-dimensional data sources - Experience with large database applications (multiple terabytes) - Proficiency in Cognos architecture, report development, and administration - Understand SDK and the use of Java script and HTML in Cognos - Strong semantic data modeling skills - Knowledge of data, master data and metadata related standards, processes, and technology - Takes initiative and demonstrates problem solving ability - Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills *Responsibilities:* - The overall responsibilities include but is not limited to the following: - Design and implement a scalable architecture using IBM Cognos 10 BI technologies and integrating with external web portal - Develop, communicate, enforce standards, and oversee delivery of technical quality - Manage and monitor deployments into testing and production environment - Collaborate effectively with customer contacts to define reporting requirements and develop reporting content - Handle multiple projects and ensure delivery of projects within deadline - Perform tasks such as optimization of queries, security/access control, high availability, online diagnostics, production support and other enterprise software assignments Thanks, [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
