*Title: Network Voice Admin* *Location: Philadelphia, PA* *Duration:6+ months* The Engineer 3 being recruited here will be responsible for requirements, design, development and support of the infrastructure elements supporting current and future voice products. Specific areas of subject matter expertise include SIP, VoIP, IMS, RTP, DNS, IP, DIAMETER, Voice application servers, SBCs, etc. The engineer designs, implements, and sustains engineering of Company’s applications and services. Oversees full life cycle product development to include analysis and planning related to product development, launch and deployment. Acts as the interface to third party vendors from a business and engineering perspective with respect to requirements generation for meeting Company goals and with respect to licensable technology. Develops financial and operational objectives. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results, and typically manages one or more groups of professional employees. *Core Responsibilities* - Creates detailed design, technical requirements and service specifications in the areas of Voice products. Presents architecture, design, and technical choices to internal audiences. - Oversees design, testing and deployment of the Voice infrastructure - Builds relationships with QA, Ops and development organizations to ensure smooth and successful delivery of solutions to production - Builds relationships with product, business, marketing and sales teams to determine requirements for the success of the team - Ensures the delivery of the end to end solution supporting new products and features on time, within budget and with high quality - Demonstrates technical expertise in the application of new technologies and system development methodologies. - Develops requirements to be used by the vendor community to develop solutions to meet Company application needs. - Evaluates various architectural solutions and implementations. - Identifies trends, services and/or capabilities that may be beneficial to various product offerings. - Participates consultatively in the testing and certification process. - Keeps current with technology developments in the industry. - Establishes and maintains productive relationships with peer organizations and also equipment and software vendors. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. - Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. - Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
