Preferred in Recent Project* SAS Engineer - Healthcare Position Description Lafayette, LA based Onshore IT Services Delivery Center has a need for multiple Software Engineers specializing in the languages below to join our Healthcare team. Duties: • Provides SAS engineering leadership and oversight on design, engineering and development of SAS information technology solutions. • Responsible for complex, multi-site, multi domain SAS activities and integration. • Manages the troubleshooting and resolution of SAS infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements and customer expectations. • Partners with IT leadership on SAS engineering related issues and strategies. • SAS 9.4 installation on Unix and Win 7 of the following: SAS Enterprise Miner (EM), SAS Enterprise Guide 6.1+ (EG), Base SAS, SAS EDM, SAS Management Console • SAS datasource connectivity to the following: Hadoop, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2 Skills: • SAS vendor management • Shell Scripting • Automation • SAS System and Metadata administration • OS: AIX (Required); Windows (Preferred); Red Hat Linux (Preferred) • Project Management is a plus • NOT a SAS Developer and NOT a SAS Admin Educational Requirement: • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or at least six years or more experience in all phases of SAS infrastructure management and administration or its equivalent in education and work experience.
